ORDINANCE 1952-17ORDINANCE #7.7 286 AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR LICENS PUBLIC D GARAGES REGULATING AND THE OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE MOTOR VEHICLES STORAGE BUILDINGS AND GASOLINE AND OIL FILLING STATIONS IN THE TOWN3IIP OF DELAWARE AND FIXING FOft THE VIOLAT ONTHEREFOR THEREOF PROVIDING THE PENALTIES of the Township of Delaware, in the The Board of Commissio County of Camden and State of New Jersey DO ORDAIN that: Section 1. No person or corporation shall hereafter construct, Operate or maintain a public garage or motor vehicle storage building or gasoline or oil filling station within the municipal limits of the township Of Delaware except after having a permit issued for such purpose under the Provisions of this ordinance. Section 2. Any person or corporation desiring to construct any such blic garage or gasoline or oil filling station or to alter or change P into such public garage or gasoline or oil filling any then existing building station shall first make application in writing to the Board of Commission- ' ermit for such construction. Section 5. Every person or corporation who may build or operate any public garage or motor vehicles storage building or gasoline or oil r filling station in the Township of Delaware shall pay an annual license fee Of Twenty -five Dollars ($25.00), which license fee shall be due and payable on the first day of January in each and every year. Section 6. For the purpose of this ordinance, a gasoline or oil filling station shall be deemed to be any building or place where gasoline or oil is offered to the general public for sale. Section 7• Any person, persons, or corporation violating any of the provisions of this ordinance shall, upon conviction thereof forfeit and pap a fine of not more than $200.00 or be imprisioned in the County Jail for not more than ninety days, or both; and each days violation shall be taken and deemed to be a separate and distinct offense. Section 8. That the fee or fees provided for in this ordinance $hall be in addition to any and all fees imposed by the building code of $aid Township. Section 9.
