ORDINANCE 1952-22293 ORDINANCE IJ22 AN ORDINANCE TO REGULATE THE USE OF THE PUBLIC STREETS OF THE TOWNSHIP OF DELAWARE BY VEHICLES AND TO PROVIDE PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLATION THEREOF Introduced: October 13, 1952• BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the Tow n- ship of Delaware, County of Camden, State of New Jersey, as follows: SECTION 1: Vehicles shall not be parked on the following designated streets or parts of streets, to -wit: (a) Along the north and south sides of Route 38 from a point 150 feet west of the westerly curb line of Chapel Avenue to a point 150 feet east of the easterly curb line of Chapel Avenue. (b) Along the east and west sides of Chapel Avenue from a point 150 feet north of the northerly curb line of Route 38 to a point 150 feet south of the southerly curb line of Route 38. SECTION 2• Any persons, firm, partnership or corporation convicted of violating any of the provis -i_ons of this ordinance shall be liable to a penalty of not more than $50.00 fine or imprisonment for a term not exceeding fifteen days, or both, at the discretion of the magis- trate or judge. SECTION 3: All ordinances or parts of ordinance incon- sistent with this ordinance be and the same are hereby repealed; and this ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its passage, publications and approval by the Commissioner of Motor Vehicles, as provided by law.
