ORDINANCE 1960-237727 ORDINANCE NO. 237 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND CORRECTING ORDINANCE NO. 98 ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE TO REQUIRE AND PROVIDE FOR THE CONNECTION WITH THE SEWER SYS- TEMS OF THE TOWNSHIP OF DELAWARE, TO PRESERVE AND PROTECT SAID SYSTEMS TO FIX A CONNECTION CHARGE, AND FIX PENALTIES FOR THE DAMAGE TO SAID SYSTEMS" The Board of Commissioners of the Township of Delaware in the County of Camden DO ORDAIN: Section 1. Section 2 of Ordinance No. 98 entitled "An Ordinance to Require and Provide for the Connection with the Sewer Systems of the Township of Delaware, to Preserve and Pro- tect said Systems, to Fix a Connection Charge, and Fix Penalties for the Damage to said Systems" is hereby amended and corrected to read as follo "Section 2. No person shall make any connection with the sewer systems of the Township of Delaware in the County of Camden without first having made applica- tion for a permit to make such connection, in writing, signed by the owner of the property or his duly auth- orized agent, to the Township Sewer Inspector; said application to be on forms furnished by the Township Sewer Inspector and clearly designating the property and location thereof, the name and address of the owner of said property and the purpose for which the building is to be used. "A separate application shall be filed and a separate permit obtained for each separate store, apartment, or suite in any unmetered multiple use or purpose building. A separate application shall be filed and a separate permit obtained for each meter installed in any metered multiple use or pur- pose building. "A charge of One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) pay- able in advance, shall be made for each permit to connect with the sewage systems of the Township of Delaware except: "a. Where a builder enlarges or adds to a Township owned sewer plant, in which case a contract shall be entered into between the Township and builder authorizing a permit for a specific number of connec- tions, at a charge of one -half the fee fixed abive; and "b. In any case where a sewer main and house connection is installed and constructed by the Township Of Delaware and the costs thereof assessed against the property benefited thereby, the fee for said premises shall be Five Dollars ($5.00) for each-permit." Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances inconsis- tent With this amending ordinance are hereby repealed to the extent Of such inconsistencies only. _i 728 Section 3.
