ORDINANCE 1960-25879. ORDINANCE NO. 258 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING ORDINANCE NO. 92 ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING AND ESTAB- LISHING A BUILDING CODE REGULATING THE ERECTION, CONSTRUCTION, RECONSTRUCTION, REPAIR, MOVING, DEMOLITION, AND MAINTENANCE OF BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES IN THE TOWNSHIP OF DELAWARE, PROVIDING FOR THE ISSUANCE OF PERMITS FOR BUILDING AND FEES THEREFORE; REGULATING THE DUTIES OF THE BUILDING INSPECTOR AND PROVIDING FOR PENALTIES FOR VIOLA- TION OF BUILDING CODE ". The Board of Commissioners of the Township of Delaware in the County of Camden, DO ORDAIN: Section 1. Section 5 of Ordinance No. 92 entitled "An Ordinance Adopting and Establishing a Building Code Regulating the Erection, Construction, Reconstruction, Repair, Moving, Demolition, and Maintenance of Buildings and Structures in the Township of Delaware, Providing for the Issuance of Permits for Buildin; and Fees Therefore; Regulating the Duties of the Building Inspector and Providing for Penalties for Violation of Building Code" is hereby amended and supplemented to add subsection (h) as follows: (Code, page 27) "(h) Section 109.35/is amended to read as follows: "109.35 -RADIO AND TELEVISION TOWERS - Radio and Television towers over twelve (12) feet in height shall be constructed of steel or other approved corrosion - resistive noncombustible materials; except that isolated radio towers may be constructed of wood when not more than one hundred (100) feet in height. The structure shall be securely braced and anchored to resist a wind load of not less than thirty (30) pounds per square foot on the net area of both sides of latticed construction plus projected area of ice - covered antennae where sub- ject to freezing temperatures. Such structures shall in no case conflict with the currently operative zoning ordinance of the Township of Delaware; nor be installed near overhead electric lines; nor encroach upon any street or public space. Antennae structures for private radio or television reception not more than twelve (12) feet in height may be erected on any building without a building permit." Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances inconsistent With this ordinance are hereby amended to the extent of said in- c onsistency only. Section 3.
