ORDINANCE 1960-268ORDINANCE NO. 268 AN ORDINANCE VACATING PUBLIC RIGHTS IN PORTIONS OF KENTON AVENUE AND BEDFORD AVENUE BEING PUBLIC ROADS LOCATED IN THE TO14NSH OF DELAWARE. i The Board of Commissioners of the Township of Delaware in the County of Camden, DO ORDAIN: Section 1. That all public rights be and they are hereby vacated in those parts of Kenton Avenue and Bedford Avenue being public streets in the Township of Delaware, bounded and described as follows: BEGINNING at a point in the Southwesterly side of Kenton Avenue at the distance of 79.35 feet Southeastwardly from the Southeasterly side of Murray Street;'thence (1) Northeast - wardly at right angles to the Southwesterly side of Kenton Avenue, the distance of 50 feet to the Northeasterly side of Kenton Avenue; thence (2) Southeastwardly along the North- easterly side 'of Kenton Avenue the distance of 1018.63 feet to the Northwesterly side of Marlboro Avenue, be the same more or less; thence (3) Southwastwardly at right angles to the Northeasterly side df Kenton Avenue, the distance of 50 feet to the Southwesterly side of Kenton Avenue; thence (4) Northeestwardly along the Southwesterly side of Kenton Avenue the distance of 1018.63 feet to the point and place of beginning. BEGINNING at a point in the Southwesterly side of Bedford Avenue at the distance of 183.71 feet Southeastwardly from the Southeasterly side of Murray Street; thence (1) Northeastwardly at right angles to the Southwesterly side of Bedford Avenue, the distance of 50'feet to the Northeasterly side of Bedford Avenue; thence (2) Southeastwardly along the Northeasterly side of Bedford Avenue the distance of 914.19 feet to the Northwesterly side of Marlboro Avenue, be the same more or less; thence (3) Southeastwardly at right angles to the North- easterly side of Bedford Avenue, the distance of 50 feet to the Southwesterly side of Bedford Avenue; thence (4) Northwestwardly along the Southwesterly side of Bedford Avenue the distance of 914.19 feet to the point and place of beginning. Section 2. That all costs and expenses in connection With the vacation of the aforementioned rights shall be borne and Paid by the Board of Education of the Township of Delaware, the abutting property owner benefited by the aforesaid vacation. Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in- consistent herewith, to the extent of such inconsistency only, be and the same are hereby repealed. 81'7 Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect upon due passage and publication according to law.
