ORDINANCE 1967-01102 ORDINANCE 67 -1 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING AN ORDINANCE KNOWN AS "THE CHERRY HILL TOWNSHIP ZONING ORDINANCE OF 1960 AS AMENDED BE IT ORDAINED by the Township Council of The Township of Cherry Hill, in the County of Camden: Section 1. That an ordinance of the Township of Cherry Hill known as "The Cherry Hill Township Zoning Ordinance of 1960 ", as amended and supplemented, be amended and supplemented as hereinaf- ter provided. Section 2. That Section 514 created as an amendment and supplement by Ordinance 65 -7 being inadvertently superseded by an additional Section 514 created as an amendment and supplement by Ordinance 65 -35 shall be and is hereby renumbered, redesignated and re- enacted as Section 516, as follows: "Section 516. In order to properly control dust, fumes, odor and smoke in Residential and Professional Zoned areas, no incinerator shall be installed within one hundred fifty feet of the prop- erty line of any abutting property which is zoned Residential - Agriculture RA, Residential R -1, Residen- tial R -2, Residential R -3, Professional- Business PB -2." Section 3. That paragraph 1 of Section 1305 be and is amended and supplemented by the addition of sub - paragraph b. which shall read as follows: "b. Each main building in an industrial park or center may have one (1) free - standing sign if approved by the Planning Board provided that such sign shall not exceed one hundred fifty (150) square feet in area on any one side, shall not exceed seventeen (17) feet in height, shall be located so as not to obstruct, con- fuse or interfere with vehicular traffic, and shall be within the property lines of the industrial park or center." i Section 4. That Section 1901 shall be and is amended and supplemented to provide for two alternate members of the Zoning Board of Adjustment so that the section shall read as follows: "Section 1901. Members. A Zoning Board of Ad- justment is hereby created which shall consist of five (5) members and two (2) alternate members none of whom shall hold any elective office or position under the municipality, each member to be appointed by resolution of the Township Council for a term of five (5) years beginning on the first day of the calendar year, the term of one member to expire in each year and any vacancy to be filled for the dur- ation of any unexpired term, and each alternate mem- ber to be appointed by resolution of the Township Council for a term of one (1) year beginning on the first day of the calendar year. The alternate mem- bers shall be designated by the Chairman 'Alternate No. 1' and 'Alternate No. 2' and shall serve in ro- tation during the absence or disqualification of any regular member or members. Members and alternate mem- bers shall be removable for cause by the Township Council upon written charges and after a public hear- ing." Section 5. The administration and enforcement of the pro- visions of this ordinance shall be and is changed from the Build- ing Inspector to the Zoning Officer and all references in Articles XVIII, XIX and XX to "Building Inspector" shall be and are amended and changed to refer to "Zoning Officer ". /03 Section 6. All ordinances or parts of ordinances inconsist- ent with this ordinance shall be and are repealed to the extent of such inconsistencies only. Section 7.
