ORDINANCE 1998-28ORDINANCE 98 -2 8 ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE 95 -36 • ARTICLE V, SECTION 5 -13.4 ENTITLED "THE GENERAL ORDINANCES OF THE TOWNSHIP OF CHERRY HILL - ALARM SYSTEMS" WHEREAS, the Township Council of the Township of Cherry Hill, County of Camden, adopted Ordinance 95 -36, entitled "The Revised General Ordinances of the Township of Cherry Hill, 1995," on December 11, 1995; and WHEREAS, certain fee structures used need to be added and revised within said ordinance. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the Township Council of the Township of Cherry Hill in the County of Camden, New Jersey, that the following amendments be made to Ordinance 95 -36 entitled "The General Ordinances of the Township of Cherry Hill - Alarm Systems "; Section 1. That Article V, POLICE REGULATIONS, SECTION 5 -13.4, entitled "Alarm Systems - Penalties ", shall be amended to read as follows. • 5 -13.4 Penalties. (a). Each incident shall be considered as a separate violation. (b) First offense: Any person, entity, firm or corporation or group who has been cited under Article 5, Section 13.2 , may plead guilty by affidavit through the Township of Cherry Hill Violations Bureau. The fine for a first offense which is by affidavit is one hundred six ($106.00) dollars. (c). Any subsequent offenses shall be scheduled for court. (d). Any person, entity, firm or corporation or other group that is found guilty of violating any of the provisions of this section shall be subject to a fine of not more than three hundred fifty dollars ($350.00) (e). In addition to any penalty that may be ordered by the Court, the Chief of Police may authorize the disconnection of subscriber alarms from the Communications Center after giving written notice to the subscriber.
