AFFOS, TOWNSHIP CLERK COUNCIL AGENDA SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION SHEET COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED: ACTION NEEDED BY: June 13, 2005 Ordinance on first reading. DETAILED EXPLANATION OF REQUEST: The attached amendment to Ordinance clarifies the current Ordinance designating permissible times for placing trash for collection. The current Ordinance refers to placing trash out 12 hours before a "collection day" which was intended to indicate 12 hours before the beginning of any collection in the Township. However, it could be interpreted to indicate 12 hours before the beginning of the day, which would be 12 noon the previous day. This amendment removes the ambiguity and provides for clearer direction for .both residents and Township employees. INITIATED AND APPROVED BY: LISA M.
