ORDINANCE 2005-20 (2)ORDINANCE: 2005 -20 ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE 95 -36 ENTITLED "THE REVISED GENERAL ORDINANCES OF THE TOWNSHIP OF CHERRY HILL, 1995" CHAPTER X SECTION 10 -10 ENTITLED "ONE -WAY STREETS" DESIGNATING DELWOOD ROAD BETWEEN CHURCH ROAD AND COLES AVENUE A "ONE -WAY" STREET WHEREAS, a significant amount of vehicular traffic on Delwood Road has prompted residents to request a designation of "One -Way" on Delwood Road, which runs from Church Road to Coles Avenue; and WHEREAS, the Cherry Hill Police Department's Traffic Safety Unit and the Cherry Hill Township Fire Department have conducted on -site inspections and solicited the comments of residents and determined that the flow of traffic on Delwood Road presents a concern; and WHEREAS, pursuant to New Jersey Statute, N.J.S.A. 39:4 -202, the Township has submitted the proposed "One -Way" designation of Delwood Road to the New Jersey Commissioner of Transportation and the Commissioner has approved the designation. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that Delwood Road from Church Road to Coles Avenue North be designated as "One- Way "; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Mayor and Township Council of Cherry Hill, County of Camden, in the State of New Jersey that Ordinance 10 -10 Entitled "Revised General Ordinances Township of Cherry Hill" Chapter X, Police Regulations Section 10 -10 "One -Way Streets" be amended as follows: SECTION I' (Added) • ONE -WAY STREETS Add Name of Street Direction Limits Delwood Road North Between Church Road (CR #616) And Coles Avenue SECTION II: That any ordinance or parts of ordinance inconsistent with this ordinance are hereby repealed.
